Barry Ackroyd BSC

Barry is best known for his work with the leading British director Ken Loach. Their partnership began with the award-winning Riff Raff and Raining Stones, and Barry has continued to work as Director of Photography on all of Ken Loach’s films throughout the '90’s and beyond, including Carla’s Song, My Name is Joe, Bread and Roses, and Ae Fond Kiss, released in 2004. Other credits include Stella Does Tricks, Eroica, the Portuguese feature film Os Imortais, and The Lost Prince, for which he received a BAFTA nomination for Best Photography and Lighting. His latest credits are on Ken Loach's award-winning feature, The Wind That Shakes The Barley, and the film Battle In Seattle, due for release at the end of 2007.
