Molly Dineen

BAFTA award-winning documentary filmmaker Molly Dineen has made films about a wide range of interesting people from intimate portraits of Geri Halliwell and Tony Blair to institutions like the House of Lords. The series she is probably best known for is The Ark about the animals and employees of London Zoo.

Her latest film, The Lie of the Land (2007) is a feature-length documentary portrait of the British countryside and the harsh realities of life for British farmers today .

Molly Dineen was awarded The Grierson Memorial Trust 2003 Trustees' Award for outstanding contribution to the art of documentary.
