Tom Conroy

Tom graduated in 1991, and has worked as production designer on the Neil Jordan-directed feature film Breakfast on Pluto, Inside I’m Dancing, Intermission, The Roman Spring of Mrs. Stone, Heartlands, East is East and numerous commercials.

His most acclaimed work to date is The Tudors, for which he won a Gemini award for Best Production Design in 2008, an award for which he has again been nominated in 2009. He achieved a win and a nomination for Best Production Design from the Irish Film and Television Awards; has been nominated twice for an Emmy Award; and was nominated by his own profession, the Art Directors Guild, for the Excellence in Production Design award.
