Luke Sewell
Since graduating in December 2007, Luke Sewell has made films for the BBC and for Channel 4. As at summer 2009, he's working with director David Clews at independent production company Dragonfly, on the second series of fly-on-the-wall documentary The Family, for C4. Other recent work includes Squirrel Wars, broadcast in spring 2009 in C4’s First Cuts strand, and a series of films about Britain’s growing surveillance culture, for 3 Minute Wonders.
In August 2009, Luke was named a Broadcast Hot Shot in TV industry magazine Broadcast's annual round-up of the brightest and best new talent coming into television. “I’m confident he’s going to be one of the future’s great documentary filmmakers,” said C4 commissioning editor of documentaries, Aysha Rafaele.
