Sarah Howe
In 2004 Sarah graduated with a BA in Music and Visual Arts, having developed skills in live audio visual performance. After leaving university she worked as a community artist and as a presenter on a local radio station in her native East Midlands. Her passion for sound for moving image was re-ignited when she took a short course in film production. She went on to work on a number of short films as a sound recordist and composer and as a sound assistant on the feature Season of Mists before applying to the NFTS.
During her time at the School, Sarah worked as a sound mixer and boom operator on a wide range of productions. Her technical and theoretical training has aided her in becoming a flexible and resilient character whose professionalism is an asset to any production. She has taken every opportunity to apply her skills to industry work placements working as a trainee on TV dramas The Commander and Hotel Babylon and on the feature films Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince and From Time to Time.
