Michelle Eastwood
Mike Frankovich Scholar 2007-2008
Michelle’s love of storytelling led her to a degree in English at Oxford and while still at university she started reading scripts for various companies. Straight after graduation she moved into feature film and TV drama production, doing jobs ranging from tea-making to production co-ordinating a feature. Just before joining the School, Michelle worked on a Channel 4 Documentary and produced two short films, one of which, Hesitation, was nominated for a BAFTA in 2008.
Michelle has refined her practical, creative and business skills at the NFTS, and has produced a large variety of projects, including a commercial, a book-trailer, a Raymond Carver adaptation and a longer, ambitious, experimental film. Michelle is currently developing her adaptation project, Something Leather, and is looking forward to working on feature film projects with filmmakers of quality who have a certain edge and originality.
