Dan Gill grew up on the south coast of England, where at an early age he discovered a passion for painting, going on to earn a distinction for Art at college. From there he went on to study Illustration at Falmouth College of Arts, graduating in 2004. At an exhibition of his work in London, he was invited to apply to the Production Design course at the NFTS and began his studies in 2005 with scholarships from Screen South and the John Box Memorial Fund. After graduating, Dan hopes to find employment in an art department and eventually to pursue a career as a conceptual designer in the film industry.
