I studied painting, performance and video/sound installation at university and in 1996 graduated with a Fine Art degree.
I then continued my interest in sound and music, working on solo and collaborative art projects commissioned by the Arts Council of England. I worked and toured internationally with the theatre company Uninvited Guests, as sound designer, composer and performer. I was also a songwriter and singer in a band for six years producing two albums.
Studying sound for film and television at the NFTS has broadened my knowledge and understanding of the language of film. It has allowed me time to focus and master my skills, improving my ability to work in sound post-production as my chosen field.
Films at the NFTS include...
Collecting TexasSynchronoff Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival (PiFan), Korea
The Toughest Girl in the World Australian International Film Festival, Melbourne; Clermont-Ferrand International Film Festival, France
