Nick Loe
Christie Scholar 2004-2005
Based in London, Nick specialises in sound design and music composition for film, television, and new media. He has worked for clients including Puma, BT, Orange, ITV, Meridian, Jaguar, MTV, Motorola, Sony Ericsson, The White Cube Gallery and many more.
He came to the NFTS aiming to unite the areas of sound for new media, TV and feature film sound production. Previously, Nick had forged a career as a freelance sound designer and composer following an undergraduate degree in Electronic Engineering and Music Technology Systems from the University of York in 1998. The foundation was set for an engaging two years of creative growth and illumination at the NFTS from which Nick now looks to penetrate the world of high-end feature film productions.
Forthcoming work includes a sound supervisory role on a feature to be shot in Rio, Denmark and London beginning summer 2006.
