Dario Marianelli

Italian-born Dario Marianelli studied piano and composition in Florence and London’s Guildhall School of Music and drama before coming to the NFTS, from which he graduated in 1997. As well as composing original scores for films such as Atonement, Far North and Pride and Prejudice, he has written music for television dramas and documentaries, theatre and contemporary dance. Dario has also written orchestral pieces for the BBC Symphony Orchestra, the Britten-Pears Orchestra, the BBC Singers and incidental music for the Royal Shakespeare Company.
