Dennis De Groot
Dennis worked in the visual effects department on Monty Python’s Life of Brian and Terry Gilliam’s Time Bandits. Since then, he has specialised in designing for comedy and light entertainment television shows, with much success.
His impressive track record as production designer includes French and Saunders, The Smell of Reeves and Mortimer, The Day Today, BAFTA award-winning I’m Alan Partridge, Knowing Me, Knowing You, with Alan Partridge, Big Train, Room 101, The Frank Skinner Show, Later… with Jools Holland, BAFTA award-winning Black Books, BAFTA and Royal Television Society award winner Little Britain and the sitcom Hardware. His most recent work is on The Robinsons, a BBC comedy series featuring Martin Freeman, one of the stars of The Office.
