Mark Baker

Based at London animation studio Astley Baker Davies Ltd, Mark is the director of many commercials and title sequences. His short films The Hill Farm (made at the NFTS), The Village and Jolly Roger, were all nominated for Best Animation Oscar and have won many major awards around the world. With Neville Astley, Mark co-directed cult series The Big Knights, which took the award for Best Adult Animation Series at the 2000 British Animation Awards. The pair also created and directed the very popular 52-part children’s Peppa Pig.
