WHO WE ARE

Adrian Rhodes

Adrian kick-started his professional career in sound post-production on the most successful NFTS graduation film to date, working alongside fellow graduates Nick Park and Julian Nott on the Wallace and Gromit film, A Grand Day Out (Best Animated Film, BAFTA; Oscar-nominated for Best Animated Short Film). The relationship continued to flourish with the award-winning films The Wrong Trousers, A Close Shave and Chicken Run.

Immediately sought-after in his own right, Adrian has also been commissioned on films including The Full Monty; 007:Tomorrow Never Dies; Captain Corelli’s Mandolin, Stephen Frears’ Oscar and BAFTA-winning film The Queen and Mrs. Henderson Presents, Mike Leigh’s Vera Drake, and Tara Road, starring Andie MacDowell and directed by fellow NFTS graduate Gillies MacKinnon. Adrian’s TV work includes Riot at the Rite, The Deal, Archangel and Fields of Gold. He has won three MPSE Golden Reel Awards for Sound Editing, a Royal Television Society Award, and has received several other nominations for his work. It is no surprise that he has become one of the most successful sound specialists in the industry.
